Do you want to make a difference? Are you searching for ways to serve the Lord and expand His kingdom on earth? You don’t have to be a preacher to do that. In fact, God has given his church a variety of gifts to accomplish many different tasks. When each member does a little, a lot gets done. Here are some ways you can volunteer at the Owosso First United Methodist Church.
Serve as a custodian and help keep our facilities and property clean and safe. General responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general basic building maintenance.
Serve as a receptionist in the church office. Help create a welcoming environment by greeting people as they enter the church, answering phones, and managing office communications.
Volunteer in our tech department and help operate a camera for our livestream, learn to run the soundboard, or serve as a computer tech.
Every Thursday we have room for volunteers to make Popcorn for the Noah's Ark Preschool and Daycare.
Minister to children in our community by leading songs or giving a message to the children in Noah's Ark Preschool and Daycare program.
Do you have a pickup truck that the church can use? Occasionally we have transportation needs that require a truck. Can you help us with that?
Keep the Owosso First United Methodist church and property safe by opening the buildings when it is in use and making sure it is locked and secured when activities end.
Be a church representative on evenings or weekends and supervise the property when our facilities are being rented by other groups and help clean up when they are gone.
Teach a Sunday School class, help with the youth group, or serve in the nursery. Our children and youth are a top priority and you can help us empower them to live godly lives.
