Peace and blessings be with you!
It’s almost here! What? My favorite season, Fall! I love fall because of the newness it brings and the ways we prioritize learning.
In the church this often looks like attending worship more regularly, returning to Sunday School or Small Group classes, a more active mission calendar, and the availability of additional discipleship opportunities.
At our July Onboarding Day, you all shared some desires for our journey together and I’m excited to begin working on those with you, specifically the request for training for discipleship, in addition to worship.
There are several ways already to deepen your love of Jesus and grow in our understanding of ways to faithfully share Christ with others.

Studying God’s word together is an important part of discipleship.
This month we’re supporting the Shiawassee Walk to End Alzheimer’s, take time to register or make a contribution to support Alzheimer’s research. This walk is intended for folks of all mobility types.
On September 11th, 18th, and 25th, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, I’ll lead an offering of the video-based series: See All The People, Discipleship Begins with Relationship. Pre-registration is needed to ensure adequate supplies are available. Please let us know if you are interested in attending by contacting the church office.
I am excited for the possibilities God has in store for us as we learn and grow together. So enjoy the cooler days and strengthen your discipleship by choosing to participate in the life of the church and support the ministries that emerge!
Blessings,
Pastor Sarah
